FOURTH DIMENSION FAITH

FOURTH DIMENSION FAITH by Kong Hee (Stepping into the Fourth Dimension of Thinking, Visualizing, Believing and Speaking)

As human beings, we exist in the third dimension, which is the material world that we know, see and feel with our five senses. However, as Christians, we have been given privileged access to the Fourth Dimension, which is the spiritual realm, or the realm of faith. By learning to tap into the Fourth Dimension, we are able to overcome our personal limitations and circumstances, to walk in our true destiny and purpose in Christ!
How do we tap into the power of Fourth Dimensional living? My senior pastor, Dr. Yonggi Cho, teaches us that we need to operate on four levels:

1. Thinking ... What we think invariably affects how we feel, and this is seen in Proverbs 23:7, which says, "For as he thinks in his heart, so is he."

2. Visions & Dreams ... This speaks about what we visualize in the imaginations of our mind and heart.

3. Faith ... This refers to what we choose to believe in our hearts. Romans 10:10 says, "For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

4. Speaking ... How we speak and what we verbalize is of utmost importance to our lives! Ephesians 3:20 tells us that everything in us and around us responds to what we ask or think. Therefore, our words and our thoughts are imperative in influencing the outcome of all that we do.

In 2005, the Lord told me that He would give City Harvest a bigger worship location in the downtown area. Initially, I was thinking, visualizing, believing, and speaking for a facility that could contain just 5,000 seats. That was what I could visualize in my own limited thinking at that time. Then I attended Dr. Cho's 50th Anniversary Celebration in 2008, and stood in awe at the sight of the massive Seoul Olympic Stadium filled with a capacity crowd of believers worshipping together. That same trip, I spoke in a meeting that was held in the 12,000-seater hall at Yoido Full Gospel Church.

For days afterward, the spirit of faith overwhelmed me. I found myself weeping and repenting before God for my lack of faith toward CHC's building project. So I prayed, "God, I am going to believe You for a place like Yoido Full Gospel!" With that, I was decisively stepping into Fourth Dimensional action. I made it a point to think, visualize, believe, and verbalize the kind of hall we were looking for almost every weekend in our services. It may have seemed like I was speaking to our congregation and building their faith, but in actual fact, I was really confessing that aspiration to myself!

God began to work and in 2010, we became the proud co-owners of Suntec Singapore together with Suntec REIT. Through living by faith in the Fourth Dimension, we are now worshipping in a prime, central location of Singapore—a building in the marketplace, for the marketplace, to serve the marketplace!

There is no denying that the power of the Holy Spirit works to the extent that we are willing to think, visualize, believe and speak positively, according to the will of God and not according to our human understanding or circumstances. We need to always season our confession with faith and positive affirmation. When you face a mountain of difficult situations in your way, speak and command it to be moved and cast into the sea! In the book of Genesis, we read how God has given us dominion over our world (Gen. 1:28), meaning that we have authority over the things we encounter in this world. Instead of feeling defeated or dejected, we should always feel hopeful and victorious!

What are you believing God for the rest of 2012 and into the New Year? Do you want to see the salvation of your family members? Are you believing for a job promotion or greater success in your entrepreneurial pursuits? More business opportunities, perhaps? Some of us may be desperately waiting for the healing power of God to move, while others could be crying out for God to restore love in our families and marriages. As a church, I know that we are standing together as a family—thinking, visualizing, believing and praying with one voice for continued provision in our Arise and Build campaign and for greater victories in the coming year.

Whatever it may be, let's make it our personal conviction to experience the realm of Fourth Dimensional living, so that we can each say confidently to God, "You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand" (Ps. 16:11).
